Why Texture + PC for Thermoforming?

Most buyers default to smooth PC. But texture changes the game:

Fingerprint & scratch masking — matte/sandblast sides hide wear on helmet visors and toy shells
Lower gloss, better UX — instrument panels, premium packaging lids
Printability — sandblast surface anchors UV ink / silkscreen better than polished PC
Formability — PC softens ~180–220 °C, holds mold detail through vacuum / pressure forming

Application 1 — Sports & Safety Helmets

PC beats PET here on heat resistance and drop impact, especially for:

Electronics / cosmetics rigid box windows (matte PC = luxury haptics)
Reusable gift tins / sliding-lid inserts
Retail display trays that go through heat-shrink or hot-stamp post-processing

Thickness range 0.05–1.5 mm covers everything from ultra-thin window film to rigid insert blanks. Widths 915–1400 mm let you nest multiple cavities per roll and cut die-cost.
