PC film printed with UV ink can look fully cured yet crack, lose adhesion or show stress after forming. Cure dose, lamp heat, ink build and film surface must be qualified as one system.
An engineering plastic film manufacturer should receive the grade, gauge, surface, ink system and forming process. Dafu offers PC film for printing and forming, while UV compatibility depends on the customer's equipment and ink.
Control Cure Conditions
Record lamp type, dose, line speed, pass count and web temperature. Compare left, center and right positions if the curing field may be uneven.
Check More than Surface Dryness
Test adhesion, blocking and appearance after conditioning. Inspect for haze, curl or stress before forming, and retain uncured-control samples.
Form and Assemble the Print
Run the real forming, trimming, adhesive and environmental sequence. Send Dafu the process record, ink details, images and failed parts.
