PC film is used for printed and formed control surfaces, but a membrane-switch overlay must survive more than an appearance check. Ink layers, embossed keys, transparent windows and adhesive zones respond differently to repeated actuation.
An engineering plastic film manufacturer should receive the grade, gauge, surface, artwork and embossing geometry. Dafu offers PC film options for printing and forming, while the finished overlay depends on the customer's ink and adhesive systems.
Mark display windows, printed legends, embossed keys, spacer openings and adhesive borders. Set appearance and dimensional criteria for each zone.
Inspect ink adhesion after curing, then repeat after embossing, die cutting and adhesive lamination. Record whitening, cracking and registration movement.
Run key-actuation and environmental tests on the full switch assembly. Send Dafu the drawing, process sequence, gauge and failed parts.
