Mr. Lin Shanhua, Chairman, Ms. Lu Yanrong, Vice Chairperson, together with other representatives, took vermilion brushes to dot the lions' eyes.

The first dot on the forehead brings blessings and good luck; the second on the eyes grants sharp vision. Once the ritual was completed, the lions came vividly to life. The sound of gongs and drums echoed across the venue, filling the air with joy and excitement.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony came the lion dance green-plucking ritual, which symbolizes abundant wealth. The lions performed sky green plucking, ground green plucking and doorway green plucking one after another, drawing cheers from the crowd each time.

Lin Jian, Deputy Director of the District People's Congress, Vice Chairperson Lu Yanrong and Chairman Lin Shanhua received the corresponding sky fortune, ground fortune and doorway fortune respectively, pushing the atmosphere of the event to a climax.
